Camp Mission

Our mission at MGY is to provide our Anash girls with an awesome, action-packed summer experience with top of the line programming--all within an authentic Chassidishe atmosphere!  The end result is a spirit of positivity, self-confidence and strong values instilled in each and every one of our awesomely unique campers.  Our mission is also to keep our campers safe, both emotionally and physically.  Our staff takes every safety precaution and has regular contact with local Chicago Police Department officials and security experts, and the CPD increases presence and vigilance around Bnei Ruven while we're in camp.

Summer 5782 - Dates, Times, Location

MGY offers six jam-packed weeks from Monday June 27th through Friday August 5th.  Our camp's "home base" is Congregation Bnei Ruven - 6350 N. Whipple St.  Regular camp hours are from 9:15am-3:45pm.  Early-bird rates thru May 1st, registration closes on June 6th.

Camp Activities

The trademark of the MGY experience is tons of diverse activities...A typical day begins with an engaging davening and learning program taught by experienced and leading teachers--followed by swimming, sports, arts & crafts, science, music, and field trips to exciting local kids' attractions (like Gizmos and the Azoosment Park to name a few)!  And interactive elective "funshops" let campers choose from a catalog of exciting specialized activities; our summer catalog has included culinary arts, dance, origami, magic, and lots more!

Our Staff

Our exceptional staff is selected with care from across the U.S. and beyond.  They are warm, patient, and experienced role models of Chassidishkeit (who also know how to lead the campers in having a lot of FUN)!  They are intensively trained, including in CPR and first aid.  They also understand that each individual child's development is at the root of a positive and worthwhile camp experience!
